Moscow Watchdog
The Moscow watchdog is a large breed of dog from the Soviet Union. It is a cross between the St. Bernard, the Russian Spotted Hound and the Caucasian Shepherd. It is one of the largest breeds of dogs out there. These dogs were almost exclusive to the Soviet Union, but are not becoming more popular world wide. This dog is grouped under the Molosser grouping.
Appearance
This breed of dog is huge, it generally weighs between 45 kilos and 68 kilos. This dog does not drool. It shares many similarities to the St. Bernard Dog
Temperament
This dog is a very active dog that needs a lot of exercise.
Grooming and care
In one respect this dog is less work than other dogs of similar size as it does not drool. It is a dog that requires good long walks and space to break out into a run.
